Doug Gramling was originally born in Rogers, Arkansas. After high school, Doug paid his way through both undergraduate and law school by selling cars at both Benton and Washington County auto dealerships. Doug earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and also Economics at a church-affiliated private school, Culver-Stockton College, near Hannibal, Missouri. His active involvement with the car dealerships provided the experience necessary for a "common sense" approach to not only business matters, but the general practice of law. His approach has resulted in his representation of multiple large public companies, insurance companies, banks, numerous local businesses and even other lawyers. His history of involvement with his church and civic groups instilled a sense for the need of justice, which has served him well over the years. Although he provides approximately a third of his time in business matters, he has earned the respect of those local to the community to devote about a third of his practice to the area of serious personal injury, which has allowed him to use his negotiating skills, learned in the "real world" of small business. His remaining practice focuses on family matters, such as child custody and divorce, and also in the probate of estates.
